Firefox 155 Released: Expanded AI Feature Availability and Tracker Block Count Display

Regarding the AI-powered browsing feature "Smart Window," availability has been expanded to all users in the United States, Canada, and France. This feature assists in organizing information by utilizing open tabs and browsing history.

In Smart Window, it is now possible to display the sources of search results using the web search service "Exa." Additionally, the time required to present an answer has been reduced to approximately one-fifth of the previous duration.

Improvements have also been made to the accuracy of "Organize Tabs," a tab management feature. It now appropriately groups highly relevant tabs and suggests intuitive names for those groups.

There were also updates to privacy protection features. Users can now verify the number of blocked items, such as ad trackers and cross-site tracking cookies, directly in the address bar.

This count can be hidden via the settings. However, since the feature is being rolled out gradually, the timing of availability will vary by user.

Other changes include a reordering function for containers and the addition of translation languages. When printing PDFs, it is now possible to scale the print size to be larger than 100% to fit the paper size.
