Google has announced CC, a new experimental AI agent from Google Labs designed to serve as a shared resource for up to six family members. The agent is an evolution of the technology that became Gemini's Daily Brief, but it is tailored to manage household coordination.

CC operates using an isolated cloud instance powered by Antigravity and Gemini 3.8 Flash. Each family member can interact with the agent, and it can access shared information from emails, Google Chat, or shared Google Drive folders, provided the content is explicitly shared with the agent.
The agent's primary functions include providing a "Your Day Ahead" email to all registered users each morning, adding items to shared calendars, and creating documents based on user instructions. As users interact with CC, the agent builds a memory of individual preferences to assist with tedious tasks, such as managing calendars or filling out forms. To ensure privacy, CC requires user confirmation before sending any documents or information to addresses outside the designated group.
Google is currently offering a waitlist for the CC experiment. Users of the previous CC version that transitioned into Daily Brief will be upgraded to this new experience in the coming days. The service is compatible with personal Gmail accounts for users aged 18 and older.
