Meta Glasses: Meta's AI-Powered Smart Glasses Arrive in Japan

The product features a 12MP ultra-wide camera and allows users to utilize the voice AI assistant "Meta AI" in conjunction with a smartphone. By connecting through a smartphone app, users can play music, make calls via voice commands, and capture photos and videos with the camera.

GIGAZINE has published a review based on hands-on testing with a device borrowed from Meta. According to the report, the user's body movements acted like a stabilizer during video recording, effectively suppressing camera shake. Additionally, when asking Meta AI about subjects captured by the camera, it could identify objects or suggest recipes; however, there were instances where it could not handle more advanced tasks, such as checking schedules from posters.

Regarding battery performance, the product is officially rated for over 8 hours of continuous use. When used with the charging case, it can last for up to 40 hours.
