The system allows users to start or schedule tasks, with completed work collected in an "Unread" section and tasks awaiting decision in an "Action" section. Agents continue to operate even when the user navigates away or disconnects, provided the api-server process remains active.
Technically, Pizza Bot utilizes a stateful runtime based on DeepAgents and LangGraph. It provides a consistent experience across Electron desktop apps, web applications, and a terminal CLI, all communicating with the server via HTTP/SSE. The architecture isolates the production graph engine in a dedicated package (runtime-langgraph).
Users can configure various model providers, including Amazon Bedrock, Anthropic, Google Gemini, OpenAI, OpenRouter, and Ollama. The tool also supports extensibility through Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and custom Agent Skills. Local installation requires Node.js 24 or newer.
