Claude Code v2.1.284 has been released, featuring several updates to model availability, user interface, and stability.

New Features and Improvements

Model Update: Claude Sonnet 5.5 (claude-sonnet-5-5) is now the default Sonnet model on the Anthropic API.
Auto Mode UI: Added a "Yes, but ask again next time" option for prompts before reading outside working directories, allowing one-time permission for specific reads.
Usage Monitoring: Added dollar amounts for Claude apps gateway spend limits in /usage and the status line when using recent versions.
