The gateway enables centralized management of API keys and costs, particularly useful for companies and teams. Administrators can issue dedicated Experiential API keys to specific employees or AI agents, allowing them to track usage and expenditures by individual, agent, or model via a dedicated logs screen.
Experiential supports a catalog of over 1,000 AI models, including DeepSeek, Qwen, and Mistral. Users can utilize their existing provider keys through a "Bring Your Own Key" (BYOK) approach.
The platform also includes features to optimize model selection. By collecting telemetry data in OpenTelemetry format, the system can evaluate tasks across different models to compare quality, speed, and cost. While basic multi-model access and usage tracking are available in the free cloud version, advanced features like automated routing and per-prompt optimization are reserved for Pro plans and above. For self-hosted setups, users can feed historical data from tools like Langfuse into Experiential to build optimized routing logic.
