The potential server is expected to come in configurations featuring either two or four of Apple’s future M8 Ultra chips. This move follows the high popularity of Mac mini and Mac Studio among AI developers, with companies such as OpenAI and Anthropic reportedly using these devices for AI workloads.
The reports suggest that Apple may incorporate Nvidia's NVLink Fusion technology, which connects multiple chips to operate as a single unit, to support the servers.
