MIC Establishes AX and New Technology Strategy Office to Coordinate AI Promotion and Inter-agency Collaboration

Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications Yoshimasa Hayashi announced during a press conference on September 1 that the "AX and New Technology Strategy Office" will be established within the MIC. The office is expected to be responsible for coordinating AI promotion policies within the MIC and managing collaboration with other relevant ministries and agencies.
