Destro, a startup that recently emerged from stealth, has raised $8 million in a seed funding round led by Base10 Partners and Bonfire Ventures, with additional investment from CoFound Partners.

Destro AI raises $8 million seed round to provide intelligence layer for logistics robots
Rather than building its own robot hardware, Destro has developed an AI intelligence layer designed to optimize logistics settings. The company's "Mothership" operating system uses vision-language-action models—AI systems that interpret camera images to control robot movements—to coordinate the workflow between robots, human workers, and equipment.
The startup is currently piloting its technology with Yusen Logistics, a South Korean shipping giant. The pilot uses Miva Robotics carts operated by Destro’s software to automate the cross-docking process, where goods are moved from incoming trucks to outbound loads. Destro is expanding this implementation to 26 robots at one facility and launching another 17-robot pilot in Southern California.
Founder Manthan Pawar stated that the company aims to provide the "harness" around robotic platforms to make complex logistics workflows possible. Destro expects to reach positive cash flow by the end of this year as it seeks to scale its solution across the warehouse industry.
