OpenAI Announces GPT-6 Astra, Significantly Improving PC Operation, 3D Production, and Cybersecurity Performance

GPT-6 Astra features enhanced PC operation capabilities, and it is said to be capable of performing tasks such as filling out forms, organizing calendars, conducting web research, and installing software. Demos were also released showing 3D modeling using Blender and the operation of those created models after importing them into Unreal Engine 5.

In the field of production support, game development company Playco has been experimenting with game creation using the model and reported that manual corrections decreased by 50% compared to previous models.

In the "Agents' Last Exam" benchmark, it recorded 59.3%, surpassing the 53.6% achieved by GPT-5.6 Sol. Additionally, under specific conditions for "ARC-AGI-3," which demonstrates problem-solving ability in abstract environments, it recorded up to 99.9%.

In the cybersecurity field's "ExploitBench," it recorded 100%. OpenAI stated that GPT-6 Astra is the first model to reach the "Critical" level of cyber capabilities in the company's safety evaluations.

The model has begun rolling out to some organizations and is scheduled to be deployed to ChatGPT Plus, the OpenAI API, and Amazon Bedrock over the coming days.
