Rabbit is rolling out a standalone AI agent through its new "agentic operating system," OS3, which can operate locally across Windows, Mac, and Linux devices. While the OS3 system runs in the cloud, it is designed to manage files, apps, and AI models across up to five devices linked to a single account.

Users can access OS3 via a dedicated desktop site, messaging apps like Telegram or iMessage, or the company's R1 hardware. Rabbit founder Jesse Lyu stated that while the company has stopped manufacturing R1 devices, it plans to launch a new "cyberdeck" designed for vibe-coding that will run OS3 within months.
Regarding privacy, Rabbit claims that OS3 will not store, copy, use, or sell user data, though it will retain chats and associated memories on its servers. Data handled by other AI providers integrated with OS3 remains subject to their respective privacy policies.
