Google Labs introduces CC, an AI agent for family household management
The agent aims to reduce the time spent on household management by organizing calendars, tracking tasks, and handling logistics such as meal planning or filling out registration forms. CC can automatically add calendar events based on information shared by family members and can take actions, such as completing forms, with user permission.
To maintain privacy, CC only accesses information that members explicitly choose to share, such as school emails or communications from a veterinarian. It integrates with Google Calendar and Tasks to create a shared daily brief.
Currently, CC is available in the United States for individuals aged 18 and older with a personal Google account. Existing users will receive an email regarding account upgrades, while new users can join a waitlist.
