A teaser trailer for the film Artificial, directed by Luca Guadagnino, has been released. The film focuses on the events of 2023, when OpenAI founder Sam Altman was removed from his position by the company's board of directors, only to return less than two weeks later.

Although the film was originally scheduled for release in June 2026, its premiere had been put on hold after Amazon MGM Studios withdrew from distribution. Subsequently, it has been reported that Neon, the studio behind Parasite, acquired the distribution rights for an estimated $20 million (approximately ¥3.1 billion).

Artificial is scheduled for a limited theatrical release in the United States starting December 25, 2026, with a wide release following in January 2027.
