New MCP Roadmap Released, Focusing on AI Agent Support and Unified HTTP Communication

The Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF), an organization under the Linux Foundation responsible for specifying the Model Context Protocol (MCP), has released a new roadmap indicating the direction for MCP's future evolution. The roadmap highlights a focus on four key areas: AI agent support, unification of HTTP communication, identity, and a better developer experience.
