On the 10th, South Korean AI security firm S2W announced that it will join the partner ecosystem of "Daybreak," a global cybersecurity initiative led by OpenAI. Through its participation in the "Daybreak Defense Network," S2W plans to expand its scope from vulnerability diagnosis and threat analysis to "AI Red Teaming," which verifies AI systems from an attacker's perspective.

Daybreak is a program designed to support the preemptive discovery, verification, and remediation of vulnerabilities, based on OpenAI's frontier AI models and the application security agent "Codex Security." S2W is considering a method to integrate OpenAI's cybersecurity technology with its own security guardrails and autonomous AI agents.

S2W has previously developed security-specialized language models and AI-based security platforms, while conducting operations such as simulated hacking. The company explained that through this participation, it plans to expand its business scope into areas including threat modeling and security research.
