Google is reportedly negotiating licensing agreements with major Hollywood movie studios, offering substantial funding in exchange for the use of copyrighted content as training data for its AI models. The company is said to be attempting to gain access to vast content libraries by presenting AI technology proposals to studios such as Disney, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Universal.

It has been pointed out that while these deals could bring significant revenue to the studios, they also carry the risk of undermining public trust in the entertainment industry.
