At IFA 2026, NVIDIA announced several technologies aimed at improving the environment for using local AI. These announcements include technologies that simplify the installation of local agents and increase their operating speeds. Additionally, as an effort to enable access to multiple RTX-equipped PCs within a home, NVIDIA introduced "NVIDIA Personal AI Router (PAIR)," a free open-source software.

As new hardware for local AI, new Windows PCs called "RTX Spark" from Lenovo and Acer are scheduled to arrive in October. The RTX Spark is equipped with an RTX Blackwell GPU providing 1 petaflop of performance, up to 128GB of unified memory, and a high-efficiency 20-core Grace CPU.

NVIDIA is moving toward a design that simplifies the launch and execution of local agents, which previously required manual configuration. This includes the utilization of portable computer agents announced by Perplexity and support for "Hermes Agent," which allows for one-click setup regardless of the hardware model.
