Samsung SDS, a South Korean IT services company, has announced plans to realize "AI Transformation" (AX) across entire enterprise systems by expanding collaborations with AI companies such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
During the company's annual summit, CEO Lee Jun-hee defined AX as a fundamental redesign of how business operations are conducted and expressed the view that AI technology will transform the entire business environment. Under its "Client Zero" strategy, the company is applying and testing AX solutions across seven major internal processes—including development, procurement, and quality control—to build a foundation for commercial deployment.
Furthermore, Samsung SDS has become the first South Korean company to participate as a test partner in OpenAI's "Daybreak Partner" program. This initiative aims to integrate cutting-edge AI models into software security processes from the early stages of development. The company also entered into a strategic partnership with Anthropic in July of last year; by combining the technical capabilities and business expertise of both companies, Samsung SDS aims to jointly explore new commercial opportunities in the field of AX.
