X has announced that it will utilize its payment service, X Money, for the payment of original content reward programs and subscription rewards for creators within the United States. The original content reward program is a system designed to recognize creators who produce original, high-quality content. These programs are available to users subscribed to X's Premium plan or higher, and X stated that there is no need to join a new paid plan specifically to receive rewards.
X Money is a service that integrates deposit accounts, peer-to-peer transfers, and Visa debit card functionality. This change applies to creators in the United States; in regions outside the U.S., payments will continue to be processed via Stripe as before. Currently, the use of X Money is limited to the United States and is being rolled out sequentially to X Premium and Premium+ subscribers.
