Jess Asato, a Member of Parliament for the UK Labour Party, has filed a lawsuit in the High Court of London seeking an injunction to prohibit xAI's chatbot "Grok" from generating sexually explicit images of her without consent. The complaint cites the unauthorized use of private information and violations of data protection laws, claiming that Grok's design and training methods enable the generation of sexual content.

Asato's legal team is demanding that xAI implement effective and permanent technical measures to prevent the creation of altered images of her. Her lawyers stated that this request could impact all AI developers and potentially set a precedent for privacy protection.

xAI has not issued a comment regarding these claims. Grok is provided via X (formerly Twitter) and has been the subject of investigations by regulators in several countries following criticism over the generation of non-consensual sexual imagery. Meanwhile, Elon Musk has expressed critical views on regulations such as the UK's Online Safety Act, arguing that they could restrict freedom of speech.
