Binance founder Changpeng Zhao has expressed the view that Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) will transition to the blockchain in the future. According to a report by U.Today on the 8th (local time), Zhao stated that tokenizing IPO shares would enable 24-hour liquidity, integration with decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols, and direct access for individual investors worldwide.
Supporting this perspective, trading of pre-listing products related to AI company Anthropic is expanding. Anthropic, the developer of Claude, is scheduled to conduct an official roadshow in mid-October 2026. Since June, the prices of pre-listing derivatives traded on Web3 have risen following reports regarding the company's revenue and operating profit.
On Binance, the Anthropic-linked perpetual future "ANTHROPICUSDT" traded at 2,012.50 USDT, with daily trading volume reaching $21.1 million. Related contracts are also being actively traded on the decentralized exchange (DEX) Hyperliquid. However, these pre-listing derivatives are not directly linked to actual shares; they are traded as "pure synthetic contracts" that automatically terminate on the listing date.
